Within the project of the Municipality of Piacenza called “Active Citizenship” an experimental project was born between the Liceo M. Gioia, the Istituto G. Marconi and the Auser of Piacenza. The goal is to develop a collaborative relationship between educational institutions and the voluntary association to create a targeted lifelong learning path. With this project, through meetings between people with different generational backgrounds, it is proposed to recognize the operational abilities of seniors in the education / training and social system and the innovative qualities without prejudice of the juniors, which can become policy guiding values of revitalization of the community fabric, as well as support for the elderly in the reorganization of everyday life.
The main areas of experimentation and intervention:
Forms of collaboration in the research of the educational needs of adulthood, with particular reference to people who have left the world of work due to quiescence and in the planning of flexible training courses capable of adapting to forms of “personalization” of the training proposal.
Dissemination of the use of new technologies in favor of senior citizens who need computer literacy. It is a training activity, to be carried out both at a school in the city and in the Auser circles of the Province. The topics covered by the initiative will be: use of electronic mail, use of Public Administration databases, Internet browsing and search for information on the network, online services provided by the Public Administration, use of WiFi by the city;
